My Personal Favourite Designs available today!

25th March 2025

The ones that make me smile on the inside!

I have always been drawn to whimsical illustrations. Realism has never reached me on a creative level. Illustrations of nature, gardens, animals and food have always grabbed my attention. Even landscaped need to be on the illustrative lean more than a realism style for me to be attracted to it. I have always loved a beautifully illustrated children's book. And any magazine that is full of colourful designs, I can never walk past them! (To shop the Zebra Finch Card, tap on photo and it will take you to my Website!)

My favourite designs would be the ones that feel like there is a story behind it. Like my newest wrapping paper, Forest Rabbit. I am normally designing Australiana themed products, but my Canadian nature sometimes slips through. We have the coolest slugs in the rain forests of Vancouver Island and B.C. They are bright yellow with a little brown, and aptly named "Banana Slugs". I have wanted to add them into one of my designs forever, and I saw my chance with this wrapping paper. I hope you appreciate the little Canadian twists too. (To shop this design, tap on photo and it will take you to my Website!)

I have a soft spot for Richmond, Tasmania also. Monique from Little Lissa Loo and I collaborated on this Richmond design last year and it has stayed on my top favs list since! I love the swans and the little yellow ducks. Although this is my favourite that we have done together so far, I am currently working on a new design for her that I have a feeling is going to be added to my favourites also! (To shop this design, tap on photo and it will take you to Monique's Website!)

If I absolutely had to choose my favourite art print, the Lobster (or crayfish) would be at the top. I love the colours and I am a Cancer, so anything that comes from the water I am drawn to. Now the only problem I have with this piece, is that do I call it a Lobster or a Crayfish? At the moment I have it Listed as a Lobster, but you can call it what ever you feel it is. Or you can reply to this email with a clear explanation of what makes a lobster a lobster and what makes a crayfish a crayfish ha ha. Did you know that Macaws are not native to Australia? I only just learned this. they are native to the tropical regions of Central and South America, and formerly the Caribbean. Most species of Macaws are endangered in the wild and some are already extinct.
